This fan is commonly used for the suction of very dusty air containing various types of materials in suspension. Examples of applications include joinery works – transport of saw dust and wooden shavings; tanneries – for the transport of trimmings and skin shavings; plastics industry for transporting raw materials including granules and trimmings.

The temperature of the fluid transported must not exceed 80'C without cooling fan and 150'C with cooling fan. For higher temperatures it will be necessary to modify the fan construction.
